The home autopan Trillium Lane Labs (Digidesign) is now available without license, good news! Only the TDM version supports 5.1, unfortunately, the RTAS is only stereo. The autopan can place a source at particular points in space multichannel predefined, and as its name suggests, it is possible to automate rotations with different movements (circles, arcs ...).
