DTS announced at NAB out of the plug-in version of its process upmix "Neural UpMix" RTAS, AudioSuite for Pro Tools and VST and updating of its suite of encoding DTS-HD Master Audio Suite v 2.5 for authoring DVD and Blu Ray.
The Neural UpMix is an additional solution to 5.1/7.1 upmix Stereo/5.1 (a first for the format 7.1), proposed for post-production where one does not have separate elements, makes it clear DTS . This is particularly useful for catalogs of movies, TV shows, documentaries, menus ... To optimize the upmix, we have access to two main parameters, the width of the sound image and balance front / rear , accompanied by a balance of levels for each channel, a limiter, the filter for Lfe.
