Wavelength for 6 years organizing the festival of radio and listen to Brest, whose seventh edition will be held from 3 to 6 December 2009.
This event has given purpose to share a certain idea of radio and sound creation to a wider audience. Documentaries, radio dramas, journalism, music ...: the festival is eclectic and covers all genres throughout the four days of programming, through public listening sessions, debates and meetings.
The festival is supported among others by France Culture, Ina, authors' societies (SCAM and SACD), the University of Brest and Le Quartz, Brest National scene.
For several years, a special session is devoted to the creation of sound in 5.1. In 2009, this session will be held Sunday, December 6 at the Auditorium of the Conservatoire de Brest, between 10am and 12.30pm. The organizers called in Bergamo Periaux, sound engineer specializing in multichannel sound (bmusicsurround) and the sector responsible for Multichannel Sound Unit Training'' Sound of Ina, to establish this program and present the 2:30 session linking production from different backgrounds, the first steps of his students to the works of producers confirmed.
